Read moreAs part of the new exhibition “COLLECTING CONNECTING: MORE THAN 20 YEARS OF THE VIRTUAL SHOE MUSEUM,” the Shoe Museum is organizing a masterclass with Dutch designer, collector, and curator Liza Snook.
Since the 1980s, when she studied graphic design at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague, Liza Snook has dedicated herself to collecting all kinds of shoe-related objects. More than 20 years later, her remarkable and original collection brings together pieces by some of the world’s leading contemporary shoe designers.
Driven by a desire to share this passion, she created the website VirtualShoeMuseum.com in 2004 together with her partner, Taco Zwaanswijk. In this masterclass, she will share her experience as an exhibition curator, where the shoe is presented simultaneously as an object of design and art.
